Shorouk designs and executes strategic communication for major space science organizations across Europe, including the European Space Sciences Committee, the European Astrobiology Institiute, the Europlanet Society, and its major scientific conference on planetary science, the Europlanet Society Congress (EPSC). She also produces video and editorial content and manages social media channels. 

Shorouk is a climate scientists, science communicator, and visual storyteller. She holds a MSc. in Integrated Climate System Sciences from the University of Hamburg (Germany) and has professional experience in communications working with international organisations, Academia, and the corporate world.
